DEEP INFOSEC / QUALIFICATIONS

What a qualification proves — and what it does not

An attendance record, a passed practical examination, a professional certification and organizational accreditation are different claims with different decision-makers.

How practical competence is assessed

Course attendance

Documents participation; it does not by itself establish tested professional ability.

Practical skills assessment

Records a candidate’s verified performance against a published, versioned rubric.

Professional certification

May be awarded only by an authorized scheme issuer following its own independent decision and validity rules.

Organizational accreditation and assurance

PASC corporate certification/accreditation and an ISO-level prerequisite do not automatically certify an individual or a course.
