Define the starting boundary
The first workshop identifies the business service, systems and locations in scope, system owners, existing controls, dependency map and approved data sources. A Deep Advisor assessment may begin with selected exports; a DeepShield evaluation may use an agreed observation boundary before any separately authorized enforcement activity.
Prove compatibility
Engineering records the supported protocols, required permissions, available connectors and operational dependencies for the selected product or service. Typical targets include security event and identity data, cloud configurations, existing ticketing or SIEM workflows, OT gateways and controlled HES/MDM interfaces.
Protect operational continuity
The evaluation plan records change windows, permitted commands, backups, failover behavior, safe restoration conditions and accountable approvers. For industrial environments, the site operator retains change authority, and testing starts with non-disruptive observations where appropriate.
Agree acceptance before deployment
A pilot is assessed against its own documented measures: quality and completeness of relevant data, alert or finding usefulness, measured system impact, operator workflow, recovery behavior and agreed handover. The customer receives a decision record that supports a documented go/no-go for wider deployment.
