Support & service

Operational support should be understood before a product or managed service is purchased. Deep InfoSec structures service responsibilities around incident impact, the affected business service, the customer’s own operating procedures and the support coverage selected for the engagement.

Severity and escalation

P1: a critical service is unavailable or an immediate safety/security consequence requires coordination. P2: substantial degradation or high-impact security incident. P3: localized functional issue or contained security problem. P4: information request, planned adjustment or low-impact defect. The support schedule defines communication, hours, response objectives and escalation for the purchased service.

During an incident

A request is recorded against the relevant system and service. The team classifies business impact, identifies a technical owner, agrees a safe containment or recovery action, and keeps the customer informed through the designated incident channel. Findings and actions feed the operational record.

For managed operations

Service design records the covered infrastructure and security tools, monitoring boundaries, change authority, administration access, backup and restoration responsibilities, reporting and scheduled service reviews. The chosen coverage determines whether on-call and continuous monitoring apply.

Handover and continuity

Projects conclude with as-built records, configuration and access handover, maintenance instructions, known limitations, technical training and a service-transition decision. Where the engagement includes a managed service, support begins from the agreed service commencement and acceptance milestone.
